“Against The Odds” tells the amazing story of Dr. Emad Rahim, a survivor of the Cambodian Killings Fields. Dr. Rahim overcame a lot of adversity, from losing his older brother and father in a concentration camp in Cambodia, surviving an abusive household, participating in gangs and struggling with a learning disability, to becoming an award winning educator, author and successful business owner. Dr. Rahim hopes his story empowers and motivates young people to complete their education and fulfill their professional goals.
